Katsina Student Develops Diabetes Support Technology

On Tuesday, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina state received an innovative technology called Diabetes Coach AI, developed by Alhassan Nasir, a medical student studying at Nahda University in Egypt. Nasir, who hails from Rimi local government area, created this technology to assist individuals living with diabetes during his medical studies.

He emphasized that his selection for the Katsina state government’s scholarship was based on merit, without personal connections. Nasir expressed gratitude to the state government for the opportunity to study medicine and develop his skills.

In response, Governor Radda expressed his delight at Nasir's achievement and assured him that the state government would explore ways to support the application of the innovation in Katsina state and Nigeria. Radda noted the substantial investments made in education, stating that the benefits would extend beyond the current administration and serve future generations.
