Katsina State to Increase Workers' Salary in January 2027

The Katsina State Government has announced plans to increase workers' salaries starting in January 2027. Comrade Tanimu Saulawa, the special adviser on Labour Matters, made this announcement following his appearance before the 2027 Budget Committee at the Old Government House in Katsina.

He indicated that the government is in the process of finalizing arrangements for a new minimum wage for civil servants, which aims to improve the welfare of workers. This initiative is part of the broader efforts by Governor Dikko Umar Radda's administration to strengthen public servants' welfare and enhance productivity within the state.
