Kebbi APC Challenges ADC on Malami's 48 Properties

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, led by acting chairman Adamu Mudi-Augie, has challenged the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to explain the origins of properties allegedly associated with former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami. This statement was made on Friday in response to ADC's allegations concerning the management of Kebbi State's finances since May 29, 2023.

Mudi-Augie argued that the ADC's inquiries into government funds were misplaced, citing projects executed by the Nasir Idris administration as evidence of proper resource utilization. He referred to a judgment from July 2026, which ordered the final forfeiture of 48 properties linked to Malami, including hotels, schools, and various buildings across Abuja, Kebbi, Kano, and Kaduna, following actions by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Mudi-Augie questioned the ADC's scrutiny of state finances while properties tied to Malami were undergoing forfeiture proceedings.
