Four Arrested in Kebbi for Farmers-Herders Clash

Four individuals, identified as Adamu Madugu, Musa Makera, Saidu Adamu, and Shafi U. Hamza, were arrested by the Kebbi State Police Command in connection with a violent clash between farmers and herders.

The suspects have been charged with criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly, and culpable homicide. Bashir Usman, a spokesperson for the police, stated that the command is intensifying efforts to identify and arrest all individuals linked to the incident.

He assured the families of the victims and the general public that justice will be pursued vigorously. The police command urged residents to remain calm, abide by the law, and refrain from taking the law into their own hands, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining peace and protecting lives and property in the state.
