LAAC 30th Conference to Address Aviation Sustainability

The 30th annual conference of the League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents (LAAC) will convene key stakeholders in Nigeria's aviation industry to discuss the theme: “Towards a Sustainable Aviation Industry: Balancing Government Revenue Demands with Sector Growth.” The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, while Dr.

Wale Babalakin, SAN, Chairman of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, will chair the conference. Dr.

Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace Limited, is set to deliver the keynote address, drawing from his extensive experience to inform policy recommendations for sustainable growth. Mr.

Wole Shadare, Chairman of the LAAC Conference Committee, emphasized the importance of balancing government revenue aspirations with investment-friendly policies. The conference aims to foster robust engagement among policymakers, regulators, and investors to develop practical recommendations for strengthening Nigeria's aviation sector.

Mr. Sulaiman Idris Alooma, Chairman of LAAC, noted the conference's commitment to addressing contemporary issues in aviation.
