Khadija Diob Denies Detention Claims by Estranged Husband

Khadija Diob, a Moroccan woman, publicly addressed allegations made by her estranged husband, Nasir, claiming she was detained in Nigeria. In a video shared on Dr Ahmad Gumi's verified platform, Diob stated she has been safely residing in Morocco for six months.

She clarified that Nasir introduced her and her mother to Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, whom he regarded highly, and arranged for them to meet his family. Diob alleged that Nasir misrepresented his lifestyle and finances before their marriage and claimed that a condition of their marriage was to have separate accommodation from Nasir's first wife.

Upon arriving in Nigeria, she and her mother stayed in a hotel for two weeks due to a lack of arranged accommodation. Diob also stated that she filed for divorce through her lawyer, Barrister Bilkisu, citing alleged harm.

She expressed gratitude to Gumi and his family for their support and apologized for the public attention the situation has drawn.
