Kogi Clerics Support New NAHCON Chairman Ismail Abba Yusuf

The Kogi State Council Ulama Nigeria has publicly endorsed Ismail Abba Yusuf, the newly appointed chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). During a visit to NAHCON's headquarters in Abuja, led by Sheikh Salman Adam, the clerics praised Yusuf's appointment as a significant achievement for Kogi State, marking him as the first indigenous head of the commission since its establishment three decades ago.

They highlighted his distinguished career and ethical contributions, expressing confidence in his ability to restore trust in the commission. The council also extended congratulations to the Muslim community nationwide, particularly in Kogi State, and called for collective support for Yusuf to address systemic challenges and improve the agency's operational efficiency.

Yusuf expressed gratitude for the support and solidarity shown by the clerics during their visit.
