Kano Board Urges NAHCON to Prevent Hajj Airlift Delays

The Kano State Pilgrim Welfare Board has made an appeal to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to ensure there are no delays in the airlift of pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj. This request was articulated during a visit by NAHCON officials, including Sheikh Muhammad Bin Usman, who assessed the facilities available for pilgrims in Kano.

The statement, issued by Sulaiman Dederi, the Director General of the board, emphasized the need for timely arrangements to facilitate a smooth airlift process. Abubakar Matawal, head of the delegation from NAHCON, was informed about the board's preparations and the importance of avoiding unnecessary delays when the airlift commences.

Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Kalgo, the zonal director of Kano, commended the board for its readiness and urged the continuation of sensitization programs for intending pilgrims.
