Kogi Police Raid Criminal Hideout, Recover Weapons and Cash

The Kogi State Police Force busted a criminal hideout in Oguda village, recovering weapons, cash, and drugs worth over ₦2 million. The operation led to the arrest of Charity Williams and the recovery of a cache of weapons, including a locally made Beretta pistol, ammunition, an axe, and hard drugs.

The police also seized four mobile phones and other items linked to criminal activities. The Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, commended the swift action and ongoing efforts to track down suspects who fled the scene.

In a separate raid in Ogbakpedo village, officers recovered a locally made gun and other items. The police are intensifying efforts to combat criminal activities in Kogi State.
