Police Raid Uncovers Cash, Drugs, and Pistol in Okene Hotel; Suspect Arrested

The Kogi State Police Command arrested Charity Williams, recovering N2 million cash, a pistol, ammunition, and hard drugs during a raid at Yuwander Lodge in Okene Local Government Area. The operation, based on credible intelligence, targeted a room booked by Christopher Kadiri, who managed to escape.

Williams was found with incriminating items, including a locally made Beretta pistol, ammunition, cash, drugs, an axe, and mobile phones. The police intensified efforts to apprehend Kadiri, while in a separate incident, the Ofu Division recovered a weapon believed to belong to a suspected kidnapper.

Williams remains in custody for further interrogation.
