Kogi Teaching Hospital Aims for Quality Healthcare Delivery

Professor Abdulrahman Shehu, the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja, has pledged to enhance the quality of tertiary healthcare services while focusing on operational efficiency and staff motivation. His reform agenda aims to transform the hospital into a leading center of excellence, emphasizing staff welfare, infrastructure development, and quality healthcare delivery.

During a media interaction in Kogi State, Professor Shehu stated that improving staff welfare and development is a top priority. He assured hospital workers that measures would be introduced to boost productivity and strengthen operations.

Mr. Segun Ademola Salami, Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Kogi State, commended Professor Shehu's efforts since he took office and encouraged him to remain innovative and selfless in his mission to transform the teaching hospital.
