APC Wins Kano Federal Constituency Seat by 35,000 Votes

The All Progressives Congress (APC) successfully retained the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency seat in Kano State during the elections held on June 20th. Rabiu Shuaibu emerged victorious with a total of 35,356 votes, defeating his closest opponent, Lawal Garba of the Abundant Movement (APM), who garnered 268 votes.

Abubakar Yahya Muhammad from the Labour Party (LP) received 98 votes. The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), led by former Kano Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, was notably absent from the elections.

The results were announced on Saturday, confirming that Professor Umar Sani, the APC candidate, met all legal requirements to be declared the winner and return to office.
