LAJA Congratulates Ubadike on Historic Professorship

The League of Anambra Journalists (LAJA) has extended congratulations to Air Vice Marshal Osichinaka Chiedu Ubadike on his recent appointment as a professor of aerospace engineering at the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Technology. This appointment is historic as Ubadike becomes the first serving officer in the Nigerian Air Force to achieve the rank of professor, a significant milestone that extends beyond military accomplishments.

LAJA, in a statement jointly signed by Interim President Amb Ikenna Okonkwo and Secretary Princess Ekwi Ajid, highlighted Ubadike's academic journey, which includes graduating with first-class honors in electrical and electronic engineering and earning advanced degrees from the Nigerian Defence Academy and Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. The organization commended Ubadike's contributions to indigenous defense technology, particularly in the Nigerian Air Force's unmanned aerial vehicle program, and expressed hope that his achievements will inspire young Nigerians, especially from his hometown of Umuoji in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, to pursue excellence.
