LASU Refutes Claims of Excluding 2025 Law Graduates

Lagos State University (LASU) issued a statement denying allegations that some Law graduates from the 2025 set were excluded from the mobilisation list for the Nigerian Law School. The university clarified that its records indicated all graduates who completed their programmes and were eligible for mobilisation had been duly mobilised.

This response followed claims from some 2025 Law graduates that at least 16 students from the August 2026 graduating set were mobilised ahead of their seniors, with allegations that names of about 20 eligible members of the 2025 set were removed to accommodate the 2026 graduates. LASU confirmed that the Registrar had forwarded the list of mobilised graduates to the Nigerian Law School.

The university advised affected graduates to visit the Office of the Registrar for clarification on their mobilisation status. Prof. K.A.

Olatoye, Dean of the Faculty of Law, also supported the university's position, stating that all graduates who applied for mobilisation, including the complainants, had been mobilised.
