Senator Katung Demands Justice After Kaduna Attack

Senator Sunday Katung, representing the Kaduna South Senatorial District, condemned the attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, which resulted in several deaths and injuries. In a statement released on Monday, Katung expressed profound grief over the incident, emphasizing the tragic loss of innocent lives and extending condolences to the bereaved families.

He highlighted the shared pain of the entire Kaduna South Senatorial District and stressed that no family should suffer such violent losses. Katung called for urgent measures to strengthen security in vulnerable communities, asserting that residents should be able to live and pursue their livelihoods without fear.

He urged security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend those responsible for the attack. Additionally, he commended the Kaduna State Government for its prompt response, particularly the directive to the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency for immediate relief to affected families.

Katung appealed for community vigilance and cooperation with security forces to prevent further violence.
