Deji Adeyanju Demands Release of Barrister Abdul Mahmud

Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has called for the immediate and unconditional release of Barrister Abdul Mahmud from Keffi Prison. This demand follows a remand order issued by a senior magistrate court sitting in Mararaba, Nasarawa State.

Adeyanju condemned the situation, stressing that the treatment of individuals should adhere to the utmost caution and strict compliance with the law. He noted that although there is a pending civil suit against Mahmud, the principles of justice and fairness must prevail.
