Gagare Urges Collaboration to Boost Nigeria's ICT Sector

Mr. Nadungu Gagare, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, called on various agencies to strengthen collaboration and align their policies to improve the understanding and operations within the ICT sector.

This statement was made during his maiden tour of the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NigComSat). Gagare highlighted that Nigeria's digital economy is crucial for the nation's growth and global competitiveness.

He issued a statement through the head of corporate affairs at NigComSat, Stephen Kwand, emphasizing the need for stronger inter-agency collaboration to maximize impact and avoid duplicating efforts. He urged staff to remain committed and disciplined in advancing the federal government's technology-driven development agenda.

Mr. Jane Egerton-Idihen, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NigComSat, commended the ministry's interest in developing the ICT sector and described the tour as encouraging for the management and staff of NigComSat Ltd.
