FCTA Impounds 40 Vehicles at Mabushi Bus Terminal

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) conducted an enforcement exercise on Friday, impounding 40 commercial vehicles operating illegally outside the Mabushi Bus Terminal in Abuja. Dr.

Peter Olumuji disclosed that this action is part of measures to ensure that commercial vehicles operate within designated areas, as per directives from the FCT Transport Secretariat. The enforcement follows the announcement on June 21 regarding the commencement of operations at the Mabushi Bus Terminal, which is set to accommodate 250 vehicles and streamline transport services.

Mr. Usman Abdulmuminu stated that notices had been issued to commercial vehicle operators to comply with the new regulations.

The enforcement will continue until full compliance is achieved. The Mabushi Bus Terminal, which began operations on July 1, aims to provide a safe and organized transport hub for commuters, enhancing their travel experience.
