Matawalle Claims Court Ruling Vindicates Tinubu's Judiciary

On a recent date, Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State stated that a Federal High Court judgment affirming the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) vindicates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regarding claims of judicial interference and the establishment of a one-party state in Nigeria. The judgment dismissed a suit filed by House of Representatives member Leke Abejide challenging the ADC leadership.

Matawalle emphasized that this ruling demonstrates Tinubu's commitment to an independent judiciary and the rule of law. He criticized opposition politicians for spreading falsehoods and propaganda aimed at discrediting the president, particularly when court decisions do not align with their political interests.

Matawalle also noted the government's ongoing efforts to enhance security across the country, highlighting military operations that have successfully dismantled bandit enclaves in the northwest.
