MC Oluomo Mourns Chief Taoreed Faronbi's Passing

Chief Taoreed Faronbi, popularly known as Baba Alado, died in the early hours of Saturday, September 26, 2026. His burial took place later that day in accordance with Islamic rites.

Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), expressed his sorrow over Faronbi's passing through a condolence message on Instagram on September 27. In his message, he described Baba Alado as a significant figure whose contributions and relationships within the transport and broader community would be remembered.

MC Oluomo extended his condolences to Faronbi’s family, friends, and associates, praying for Allah to forgive Faronbi's shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus. Faronbi held several titles, including Olori Ebi of the Alagbeji Royal Family in Papa Ajao, Mushin, Akinrogun of Isolo Kingdom, and Babaloja of Aswani International Market.

He was also active in real estate and was a notable figure in Lagos’ social scene.
