Monica Kaltho Withdraws Lawsuit, Backs PDP Candidate

Monica Kaltho has officially withdrawn her court case that challenged the outcome of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary in Gombe State. This decision was announced in a statement signed by Hussaini Ali Muham, a media aide to former Gombe State Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, on Saturday.

Kaltho declared her full support for the PDP's governorship candidate, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, and committed to working towards a successful campaign for the 2027 governorship elections. She explained that her withdrawal was made after consulting with party leaders, particularly Dankwambo, whose advice she values.

Kaltho emphasized the need for unity within the PDP to foster development in Gombe State and expressed her intention to ensure the party's victory in the upcoming elections.
