Ogigi Rejects AMAC Election Results, Accuses INEC of Disrespect

Moses Ogigi, a candidate for the chairmanship of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) representing the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly rejected the election results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Following the recent elections in the Federal Capital Territory, where the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious in five out of six area council chairmanship positions, Ogigi expressed his dissatisfaction with the electoral process.

He accused INEC of treating Nigerians with disrespect and ignoring their rights. In his statement, Ogigi acknowledged the support he received across the council area but firmly rejected the outcome, citing multiple irregularities that marred the conduct of the polls.
