Tobe Okigbo to Receive Anambra Corporate Award 2025

Tobe Okigbo, the Chief Corporate Services Officer at MTN Nigeria, has been selected to receive the 2025 Anambra Corporate Person of the Year Award, organized by the Anambra Man of the Year AMTI Award. A formal honor will be conferred on Okigbo during the fifth edition of the award ceremony scheduled for March 9, 2026, in Awka.

The award recognizes individuals and organizations from Anambra origin who have made significant contributions to the corporate world. Okigbo's leadership and visionary approach have been highlighted as impactful in his role overseeing legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs at MTN Nigeria since joining in 2017.

He began his telecommunications career in 2005 with defunct Vmobile and has held leadership positions at Airtel and Smile Communications. Okigbo is a certified lawyer in dispute resolution and holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool, with additional credentials from Harvard University.

Previous award recipients include notable business leaders and brands contributing to enterprise development in Anambra State.
