Muritala Triumphs at ICAN 60th Anniversary Golf Tourney

Rasaq Muritala emerged as the winner of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) 60th anniversary golf tournament, which took place at Ikeja Golf Club in Lagos. He played off a handicap of 8 and achieved a gross score of 74, resulting in a net score of 66.

Goke Akinboro finished as the first runner-up with a net score of 70, while Kehind Kassim secured the second runner-up position with a net score of 71. Olatinwo Oluyomi followed closely with a net score of 72.

In the guest category, Chichi Alamu won with a net score of 72, while Ladi Ekpo and Shade Opawumi placed second and third with net scores of 75 and 76, respectively. Oluwaseun Aderibigb, the chairman of the planning committee for the competition, expressed satisfaction with the turnout of golfers from across the country.

ICAN President Haruna Yahaya emphasized the importance of golf in promoting health and business.
