Nigerian Sprinter Ejiasian Breaks World Record in France

Ejiasian, a 16-year-old Nigerian heritage sprinter and long jumper, recently made headlines by breaking the world record in the men's 60m hurdles at the French Indoor Championship held in Val de Reuil. He clocked an impressive time of 7.43 seconds, surpassing a seven-year-old record.

Ejiasian, who has been training intensively, expressed his ambition to represent France in athletics, revealing that he has submitted paperwork to obtain French citizenship. He arrived in France in 2010 at the age of one and is determined to run under the French flag.

In addition to his record-breaking performance, he has also won two races this year, including the French 18 Championship in the men's 110m hurdles. Ejiasian's recent achievements have positioned him as a promising talent in athletics, and he is optimistic about his future in the sport.
