NASENI and CCB Collaborate on Digital Asset Declaration

On Wednesday, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) and the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) at NASENI's headquarters in Idu, Abuja. The agreement aims to strengthen institutional capacity and build technical advisory support for a digital asset declaration system.

Khalil Suleiman Halilu, the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NASENI, emphasized the need for a sustainable framework to drive the partnership, expressing confidence that the collaboration would create innovative opportunities. Dr.

Abdullahi Usman Bello, Chairman of the CCB, commended NASENI for embracing the partnership, describing it as a significant step toward modernizing the bureau's operations, particularly in digitizing the asset declaration process for five million public servants nationwide. The initiative is expected to enhance access and efficiency in service delivery.

Tanimu Yakubu, Director General of the Federal Budget Office, also praised the partnership for promoting transparency and accountability in governance.
