NASENI to Host Final Pitching Exercise on August 5, 2026

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) is set to host the Final Pitching Exercise of the NASENI Innovation Assessment & Awards Programme (NIAAP) on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. This event will showcase Nigeria’s promising innovators competing for top honors in NASENI’s innovation competitions.

A total of 180 applications were submitted from NASENI Development Institutes, alongside 81 from Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). Following a rigorous assessment, the Top 10 Finalists in both categories will present their innovations live to an expert panel.

The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Technology Orientation Centre, NASENI Headquarters in Idu-Industrial Layout, Abuja. The independent panel will evaluate each innovation based on originality, technical merit, practical application, scalability, and socio-economic impact.

The three best innovations in each category will be recognized during NASENI FEST. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of NASENI, will officially open the competition, emphasizing the agency's commitment to fostering innovation and industrial transformation in Nigeria.
