NIS Begins Examinations for 74 Sports Students in Kaduna

The Kaduna Zonal Centre of the National Institute for Sports (NIS) has commenced examinations for 74 students enrolled in various sports training and certification programs. Yakubu Iliyasu, the Information Officer of the Institute, reported that Zonal Coordinator Mr. Adeduro Taiwo Henry stated the examinations aim to evaluate the students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

The candidates include 71 footballers, one badminton player, one handball player, and one athlete. The examination process spans two weeks, with the first week focused on practical assessments and the second week on theoretical evaluations.

Henry noted that the practical sessions allow students to demonstrate their competencies, while the theoretical component tests their understanding of relevant principles. He praised the students for their discipline and the staff for their coordination efforts, highlighting the orderly conduct of the examination.

Henry expressed gratitude to the Kaduna State Government and the Kaduna State Sports Commission for their support, emphasizing the need for continued collaboration to enhance sports training and certification.
