Aviation Unions Threaten Shutdown of NCAT Over Staff Conditions

Four aviation sector unions have given a 14-day ultimatum to the management of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) in Zaria, Kaduna State, citing failure to review staff conditions and services. The unions, including NAAPE, ATSSSAN, ANAP, and NUATE, expressed dissatisfaction with the management's indecisiveness and lack of seriousness in addressing staff welfare issues.

If the management fails to conclude the review process within the stipulated period, the unions will instruct their members to withdraw services immediately. The unions are concerned about the management's disregard for established principles and are focused on promoting industry harmony within the college.
