NCDMB Conducts Workshop for Media in Anambra State

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) held a capacity-building workshop for media stakeholders in Anambra State on Thursday at Golden Tulip Hotel, Awka. The workshop, themed “Nigerian Content Capacity,” featured a welcome address by Dr Obinna Ezeobi, General Manager of Corporate Communications at NCDMB, who praised the board’s management for the initiative.
He urged the local populace to engage with the local content policy in the oil and gas sector. The workshop included an overview of NCDMB's projects and achievements presented by Mr Silas Omoroehiri, Director of Planning, Research and Statistics.
Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Value Reorientation, Dr Law Mefor, expressed gratitude to NCDMB for the workshop and lamented that the state had not fully benefited from its oil-producing status. He noted the Soludo administration's efforts to enhance electricity generation and distribution, which would be bolstered by accessing the state's gas deposits.
Over 60 media stakeholders and government appointees participated in the event.
