NDA Issues Safety Warning for Kaduna Live-Fire Exercise

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced a live-fire exercise scheduled to take place from May 4 to May 9, 2026, in Kaduna. The announcement was made by the NDA's Public Relations Officer, Maj Reuben Kovanji, who emphasized the importance of safety measures being implemented during the exercise.

Residents in the vicinity, particularly those in Tsamiya Kauya, are advised to avoid trespassing or moving close to the range throughout the duration of the exercise. The NDA has called on media organizations and community stakeholders to help disseminate this safety information to the public.

Maj Gen Oluyemi Olatoye, the NDA command, expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation and understanding of the public regarding the safe conduct of the exercise.
