APC Chieftain Praises New Army Divisions for Security

Musa Mohammed, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the establishment of four additional Army Divisions, viewing it as a crucial measure to address Nigeria's security challenges, particularly banditry and terrorism. Mohammed stated that this restructuring of the military command structure, along with the President’s commitment to improving military personnel welfare, would enhance the operational effectiveness and morale of the armed forces.

He emphasized that the Tinubu administration is proactively addressing security issues rather than merely reacting to them. Mohammed also praised Defence Minister General Christopher Musa for his leadership and dedication to implementing the security agenda, highlighting the need for sustained investment in modern military technology to support these reforms.

He asserted that motivated soldiers are essential for national security and called for the provision of necessary resources and political backing to achieve victory against insecurity.
