Nigeria Immigration Service to Close Offices Nationwide Twice Before 2025 End

The Nigeria Immigration Service is set to close its offices across the country two times by the end of 2025, with the first closure scheduled for December 25 and 26. This move is in line with the observance of public holidays, allowing employees to have time off to celebrate Christmas and recharge.

The closure will affect the 8 zonal offices, 36 state commands, and special commands in the country, impacting services related to passport applications and international travel.
