Nigeria Female YellowGreens Triumph Over Malawi in T20

On Wednesday, Nigeria’s Female YellowGreens secured their first victory at the 2026 Kwibuka T20 Cricket Tournament with a commanding 52-run win over Malawi at Gahanga Cricket Oval in Kigali. Nigeria batted first, posting a total of 98 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs, with Jessica Bieni remaining unbeaten at 25 runs.

Other notable contributions included Sarah Etim with 14 runs, and both Eseigb and Christabel Chukwuony scoring 11 runs each. Despite an early setback, Nigeria's lower order showed resilience to reach a competitive total.
