Nigeria Trio Set for World Sambo Championships in Kyrgyzstan

Nigeria is sending Fatai Balogun, Samuel Keker, and Sodiq Ajibade to the World Sambo Championships in Kyrgyzstan. They will compete in combat and blind sambo categories, with Balogun in men's 88kg combat sambo, Keker in men's 64kg blind sambo, and Ajibade in men's 98kg blind sambo.

The event, organized by the International Sambo Federation (FIAS), will feature top global competitors. The prize fund totals $341,000, with gold medallists earning $4,000.

The Sambo Association of Nigeria, led by President Loveth Howell and Vice President Sheriff Ham, expects a strong showing at the championship.
