NIS Resumes Basic Certificate Course in Abuja, Edo, Kaduna

The National Institute for Sports (NIS) has officially resumed full academic activities for its basic certificate course across three strategic centers in Nigeria: Abuja, Edo State, and Kaduna State. This program is part of a broader initiative to strengthen sports education and human capacity development nationwide.

Philip Shaibu, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, noted that this resumption marks a significant milestone in revitalizing sports education in Nigeria. The NIS aims to ensure that aspiring coaches, sports administrators, and physical education instructors have access to quality training aligned with global best practices.
