Nnamdi Kanu's Defense Team Rejects Court Ruling as "Null and Void"

Nnamdi Kanu's legal team has rejected a recent court ruling by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja, declaring it "null and void." The defense team, known as the Global Defence Consortium, argues that the judgment finding Kanu guilty on terror-related charges is unsustainable and unconstitutional. They point out that the laws under which Kanu was convicted have been repealed and replaced, making the judgment invalid.

The defense team insists that Kanu has already been discharged by the court in a previous case, and there is no valid case pending against him. They highlight the changes in the 2022 terror law in Nigeria as a key factor in their argument.
