Israel DMW Defends Davido Against Edo Ban Claims

Israel DMW, the logistics manager for Nigerian singer Davido, reacted strongly to comments made by Apostle Kassy Chukwu, the Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media to the Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo. Chukwu claimed in a viral video that Davido had been banned from performing in Edo State and warned that local youths would confront him if he visited.

In response, Israel DMW took to Instagram to refute Chukwu's statements, emphasizing that the aide, originally from Ebonyi State, does not represent the views of Edo residents. He labeled Chukwu as a "nuisance" in Benin City and questioned his authority to speak on behalf of the people.

Israel asserted that no individual has the power to ban Davido from Edo State, which he referred to as the singer's maternal home. He expressed his disdain for Chukwu's remarks, calling him an "idiot of a pastor" and urged the public to disregard his comments.
