Kaduna Politicians Urged to Promote Unity Ahead of Elections

Rev. Joseph John Hayab, the Chairman of the Northern Christian Association (NCA), called on political actors in Kaduna State to engage in campaigns that foster unity rather than division as the 2027 general elections approach.

Speaking during the inauguration of the Kaduna State Indigenous Ministers Association (KASIMA) on Thursday, Hayab urged politicians to prioritize what they can offer the people instead of exploiting ethnic or religious differences. He commended the current governor, Uba Sani, and other political figures for their efforts in restoring unity and inclusiveness in the state.

Hayab emphasized that the election season should not lead to hostility but should be an opportunity for social harmony. He encouraged politicians to present their plans for Kaduna State and focus on delivering good governance.

The KASIMA association, which has existed informally for over five years, aims to unite indigenous ministers to contribute to peace building and community development in Kaduna State.
