Northern Senators Praise Security Forces for Kidnap Rescue

The Northern Senators Forum congratulated the government and people of Kwara State, particularly the Woro Community, for the safe release of kidnap victims. In a statement on Thursday, Chairman Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua commended the gallantry and professionalism of the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Army, and local vigilantes involved in the rescue operation.

Yar’Adua emphasized that the success was due to effective collaboration and timely intelligence from the community. The Forum also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for providing the political will and resources necessary for the operation's success.

They extended condolences to families of those who lost their lives during the incident and urged both the Federal and Kwara State Governments to support the bereaved families. The Forum called for continued community support for security agencies, highlighting the importance of collaboration in combating insecurity.
