NSCDC Arrests Four Drug Dealers in Kano State

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, arrested four suspected drug dealers in Gaida, Kumbotso Local Government Area. The arrests were confirmed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, in a statement released to PUNCH Online on Monday.

The suspects, identified as Abubakar Abdullahi (35), Rabiu Baffa (25), Aminu Lawan (35), and Ibrahim Idris (33), were apprehended during a covert operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Unit based at Dorayi Babba, Gwale LGA, following credible intelligence. Recovered items included four sachets of Pregabalin 300mg capsules, dozens of Diazepam tablets, three tubes of Oshin Solution, and 20 parcels of suspected marijuana.

NSCDC Kano Command's State Commandant, Mohammed Agalama, cautioned the public against drug abuse and stated that the suspects and the recovered items would be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Kano Command, for further investigation and legal action.
