NSCDC Arrests Motorcycle Theft Accomplice in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, arrested a 45-year-old suspected accomplice in a motorcycle theft syndicate named Mustafa Sani. The arrest occurred at his residence in Kumbotso Local Government Area following credible intelligence.

A motorcycle with registration number GRR 958 QB, believed to be stolen, was tracked to his location. During the search, operatives recovered another motorcycle suspected to have been stolen from a hospital at Rijiyar Zaki, along Gwarzo Road, along with 11 registered motorcycle number plates, six screwdrivers, three pliers, and three bunches of motorcycle keys.

The principal suspect, Mansur Nasir Khalil, also known as “S-Guy,” remains at large, prompting a manhunt by the NSCDC. State Commandant Mohammed Agalama praised the operatives for their vigilance and intelligence-led operation, assuring the public of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks involved in motorcycle theft and urging citizens to provide useful information to security agencies.
