NSE Chairman Olumayowa Idowu Receives Advocacy Award

Engr. Olumayowa Ayodeji Idowu, the Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Abeokuta Branch, and Chairman of the NSE Branch Chairmen Forum, was awarded the Collective Advocacy Citation Award for his significant contributions to promoting professional unity, advocacy, and visibility within Nigeria's built environment.

The award was presented by Mr. Bolaji Akinfenwa, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Broadmind Special Projects Limited, during the Celebrities & the Built Environment 2026 Inaugural Recognition Awards held in Abuja.

Akinfenwa praised Idowu as a visionary leader whose commitment has positively influenced the engineering profession and the built environment ecosystem. The award recognizes Idowu's efforts in enhancing the visibility of engineering and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
