NUPENG Disowns 'PTD Elders' at Dangote Refinery, Warns of Infiltration

The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) disowned a group called 'PTD Elders' within the Dangote Refinery, labeling them as infiltrators aiming to cause division. NUPENG's National President, Williams Akporeha, and General Secretary, Afolabi Olawale, issued a statement warning against the group's activities, alleging they are backed by wealthy individuals with malicious intentions.

The union emphasized that the 'PTD Elders' are unrecognized and engaging in fraudulent activities to deceive and manipulate. NUPENG urged stakeholders and the public to be cautious of the group's criminal intents and called for vigilance to maintain unity within the oil and gas sector.
