Princ Nwafor Orizu Resigns from APGA Amid Defections

Princ Nwafor Orizu, a grassroots politician, youth advocate, community leader, and businessman, has officially resigned from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). In a resignation letter addressed to the chairman of APGA Otolo Nnewi Ward 1, Orizu expressed gratitude for the opportunities he had to serve and contribute to the party's growth over the years.

He commended APGA for providing a platform that allowed him to make meaningful contributions in various capacities. Despite his exit, Orizu remains appreciative of the experiences and relationships he gained while with the party.

His resignation comes amid a wave of defections by notable political figures in Nnewi, including former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chukwudi Orizu, and former President General of Uruagu Nnewi, Chief Charl Nwony, who have also left APGA to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). This trend indicates a significant political realignment ahead of future electoral contests in the state.
