Key Political Figures Meet Ahead of ADC Convention

On Tuesday, prominent political figures including Peter Obi, former Labour Party presidential candidate, and Rotimi Amaechi, former Governor of Rivers State, met with David Mark, the national chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The meeting took place at Mark's residence and was reportedly a closed-door session aimed at final preparations and coordination ahead of the ADC's national convention, which is currently being held in Abuja.

Notable attendees included Aminu Tambuwal, the former Governor of Sokoto State, and party chieftains Hajia Naja Atu, Moham Moham, and Hayatu Deen. The convention is expected to attract no fewer than 3,000 delegates, showcasing unity and diversity within the party's ranks, as indicated by the colorful attire representing all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
