Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge to Open This Month, Says Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced that the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge will be fully opened to the public by the end of the month, providing relief to commuters eagerly awaiting its usage. This strategic infrastructure project was disclosed during a media interaction session, where Sanwo-Olu reflected on his administration's achievements and introduced the state's Deputy Governor, Dr.

Kadri Obafemi Hamzat. The bridge was inaugurated by President Bola Tinubu in April of this year, but its opening was delayed to allow for the completion of major architectural features by Julius Berger Nigeria, the construction company responsible for the project.

Sanwo-Olu explained that the delay was to ensure that motorists would not have to face closures again after the bridge's opening. The Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge is a flagship project aimed at improving connectivity in Lagos and reducing travel time in one of the city's busiest corridors.

Sanwo-Olu noted that his administration has completed 87% of its tenure, with plans to wind down as he approaches the end of his term.
