Okpebholo Mocks Adeleke, Urges Osun Voters to Choose APC

On Thursday, Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo mocked Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for his penchant for dancing, suggesting it indicated poor leadership and distracted him from governance. Speaking at an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally in support of Bola Oyebamiji, Okpebholo urged Osun voters to accept money from political opponents but to vote for the APC candidate in the upcoming August 15 governorship election.

He linked Adeleke to former Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, stating both should be rejected by voters. Okpebholo advised supporters to collect cash from the Accord Party, which he claimed was distributing money, but to ensure they vote for the APC instead.

He criticized the state’s road conditions, using humor to question whether they were “dancing roads” due to Adeleke's leadership style. He concluded by rallying the crowd to support the APC, asking if they were ready for change.
