Adeleke's Dancing Seen as Political Strength by APC Leader

Dayo Israel, the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that Governor Ademola Adeleke’s dancing during the campaign was a political strength that facilitated his connection with voters in Osun State. In an article shared on Facebook, Israel emphasized that Adeleke, who represents the Accord Party, won the governorship election on Saturday by securing 511,067 votes, defeating APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who garnered 444,815 votes.

Israel noted that Adeleke's grassroots appeal was enhanced by his engagement with the culture and emotions of the people. He argued that Adeleke’s public performances humanized him and fostered emotional connections with voters.

Israel also credited singer Davido, Adeleke’s nephew, for mobilizing young voters through his influence and networks. He urged the APC to learn from this loss, addressing internal divisions and the need for early campaign structures.

Israel questioned the party's ability to connect with youth, asking, “Who are the Davidos in the APC?”.
