Adeleke Defends Dancing Amid APC Criticism in Osun

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke stated that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are envious of him due to their inability to dance, defending his dancing hobby during the Arise Town Hall for Osun governorship candidates ahead of the upcoming election. He asserted that his public displays of dancing do not distract him from his responsibilities as governor, saying, “There’s time for everything, there’s time to dance, there’s time to work.” Adeleke expressed that the criticism he faces from APC members stems from jealousy and offered to teach them how to dance.

He also criticized his predecessor, Gboyega Oyetola, claiming that Oyetola has not moved on from his defeat in the previous election and has caused problems in Osun State. Adeleke reiterated that dancing is a personal hobby that does not affect his governance, stating, “Dancing is a hobby; it does not disturb or affect my work.”.
